The rounding of the teeth is obtained by coordinating alternative movement of
the cutter and rotary movement of the piece. The alternative movement of the
cutter is obtained by rotating a cam, shaped in order to obtain radius or cusp

An regulation device allows change the modulus between the minimum and maximum
value of every cam. The rotation of the piece is controlled by a three-stage
gear wheel which forms the dividing system. The piece lock and the movement of
the rapid entry of the cutter to the piece is controlled by pneumatic servo
devices. The practicality and rapidity of the equipment, as well as the wide
range of profiles available on the cams and the ability to process internal
gears, make the machine a universal machine suitable for machining small and
large series.
