SAFANDARLEY E-Brake press brakes are equipped with an electric drive. Lenze servomotors controlled by inverters from the same manufacturer ensure fast and reliable system performance for many operating hours. Additionally, the machine only consumes electrical energy during the downward stroke of the ram. The return stroke is achieved via the force generated by springs. The machine does not consume electricity when idle, as the system does not include a pump, unlike hydraulic press brakes. We estimate energy consumption to be 50% lower than that of conventional hydraulic presses.
