ROUNDWOOD PROCESSING LINE
Line supplied by MSK a.s. in 2018, supplemented with a vertical band saw from J. Bögli AG.
The line was built in 2018. The band saw is older, but its exact year of manufacture is not known.
The band saw can process logs with diameters from 30 cm to 100 cm; the maximum log length is
10 metres. The line itself is designed for a maximum length of 5 metres. When longer logs are
sawn, they can be discharged from the band saw via conveyors No. 15 and No. 16.
The cant cross-cut saw has a minimum cutting length of 800 mm and a maximum length of 5
metres.
The twin-shaft multi-rip saw has a maximum cutting height of 215 mm and a maximum width of
600 mm.
In 2024, the line was supplemented with a Skywood twin-shaft circular saw for processing
small-diameter logs from 12 cm to 46 cm. Log length: minimum 2 m, maximum 5 m.
The line can operate in parallel (band saw and Skywood) or independently with either one of
these machines.
