Overhead Continuous Shot Blasting Machine?
An overhead continuous shot blasting machine is an automatic surface cleaning system used mainly for removing rust, scale, paint, or other impurities from metal surfaces.
In this system, the workpieces are suspended from an overhead conveyor line and pass continuously through a blasting chamber, ensuring high productivity and consistent quality.
⚙️ Working Principle
Loading:
The parts are hung on rotating hooks or hangers attached to an overhead conveyor line.
Transportation:
The conveyor automatically carries the parts into the blasting chamber.
Blasting Process:
Inside the chamber, high-speed turbines throw steel shots or abrasive media onto the surface of the parts.
This removes rust, scale, burrs, and old paint layers, leaving a clean, roughened surface.
Rotation of the Hanger:
The hooks or hangers usually rotate to ensure that all surfaces of the part are evenly blasted.

Discharge and Recovery:
After blasting, the parts exit the chamber. The used abrasive is collected and recycled, while dust is filtered through an efficient dust collection system.
