The MSZ 3451Б is a specialized spline grinding machine designed for precision grinding of external splines and profiled shafts. Manufactured by МСЗ (Moscow Machine Tool Plant), this machine is intended for industrial applications requiring accurate profile grinding and reliable repeatability.

The machine is suitable for workpieces with a maximum length of 1000 mm, while the maximum grinding length is 850 mm. It supports workpieces with a maximum diameter of 320 mm and a maximum weight of 80 kg, making it ideal for medium-sized splined shafts. The machine allows grinding of parts with 3 to 48 splines, covering a wide range of spline configurations.

The grinding spindle is designed for grinding wheels with diameters from 25 to 125 mm and a maximum wheel width of 16 mm. The spindle operates at stepped speeds of 2880 / 4550 / 6300 / 7400 rpm, driven by a total installed power of 4 kW. The permissible grinding wheel speed corresponds to the selected spindle speed and wheel diameter, ensuring safe operation.

The machine features a rigid worktable with a length of 1000 mm and a width of 250 mm, with a travel distance along the X-axis from 200 to 1120 mm and a Z-axis travel of 190 mm. Height adjustment is performed via a mechanical system, providing precise and stable positioning during grinding operations.

With overall dimensions of approximately 1513 × 3450 × 1900 mm and a machine weight of about 4900 kg, the MSZ 3451Б offers excellent stability and vibration damping. The machine operates on three-phase power (3 × 400 V, 50 Hz) and is supplied with factory documentation, facilitating operation, setup, and maintenance.
