The KP 900 EasyCut cut-off saw is a suitable solution for companies that process solid wood and place maximum emphasis on the quality and yield of their production. It is used to cut out defects and optimize lengths. On average, up to 900 bm/hour can be processed on this saw. (for material with a length of 4 m with 8 cuts). The saw can be operated by one or two workers, depending on the nature of the processed material.
The optimization saw KP 900 EasyCut is suitable for production, which is focused on cutting accuracy, minimization of cargo waste, speed but also safety of work. The advantage of the machine is a high degree of flexibility in the input and output dimensions of the processed material. Controlling the saw is intuitive and special software facilitates programming and entering cutting parameters. KP 900 EasyCut has extended mechanization options at the output.
Device functions
Length optimization
The function consists in minimizing waste and maximizing the yield of the assortment. The inserted material is optically scanned by the binder and automatically precisely laid out on the cross-section of the specified lengths of the selected program. The optimization system then always prioritizes the cut of the longest specified length that fits into the inserted material. The saw automatically measures the length of each inserted piece, so it is not necessary to sort the material in advance by size.
In the case of marked defects, the material is optically divided into individual pieces by the binder (from defect to defect) and these pieces are again separately optimized for length. If the cut part does not meet the length of the smallest length in the program, it goes to waste. Automatic front and back cropping can be set in the selected program.
Qualitative optimization - waste
The essence of this function is that the operator performs a visual assessment of the cut piece and marks with two perpendicular lines the places with defects that must be cut out with special chalk. By moving the binder with special optics over the cut material, the current positions (chalk strokes) of the necessary cuts are recorded. The resulting parts in different lengths (from defect to defect) are automatically length-optimized and cut to the required lengths using the software according to the cutting program. If the cut part does not meet the length of the smallest length in the program, it goes to waste. Automatic front and back cropping can be set in the selected program.
Solid and massive construction with a robust cover of the cutting area
guarantees high work safety.
Quality of individual components, material and processing
ensures trouble-free operation of the equipment and a long service life in demanding working conditions.
Material flow
In the basic design, the saw is LEFT oriented, i.e. material flow is from right to left.
Automatic loading system
is a combination of sophisticated printing equipment and optics. The system is an integral part of the entrance table. It moves along a precise linear rail with bearings and ensures very precise positioning of the workpiece in the cut (up to ±0.1 mm). Thanks to the optical integrated system, the loader reads the length of the material, marked defects and quality.
