Lorch V27 AC/DC

Stable arc – for DC and AC.
The V 27 is available in all power versions as a DC and AC/DC model. The V 27 is fundamentally characterized by a very stable arc. When welding with AC, the current waveform is optimized for both excellent cleaning of the aluminum oxide layer and reduced noise. Additionally, the AC/DC version features an arc spot function. Thanks to the rectangular current waveform, the V 27 excels with increased power and maximum arc stability when welding aluminum.

Robust and safe: the V 27 housing.
The high-end technology inside the V 27 is protected by a robust industrial housing made of metal – ideal for outdoor use. In addition, the fully load-bearing handles allow the power source to be suspended from a crane and also serve as a holder for the hose pack. The double gas cylinder securing system ensures a maximum level of safety in the production environment.

Pulsing and fast pulsing up to 20 kHz.

The integrated pulsing and fast pulsing function up to 20 kHz is particularly well suited for processing thin sheet metal. It also enables excellent weld pool control and guarantees perfect results – even with difficult welding tasks.

Energy efficiency at full performance.
The integrated standby function ensures the automatic switching on and off of individual components. Thermocontrol sensors monitor the temperature of the system and control the fan as needed. This reduces fan noise and dust levels inside the machine and also saves energy.

Optimal parameters with SmartBase.
Thanks to SmartBase technology, the arc is always perfectly matched to the electrode you have selected. Welding parameters, arc starting, and working range are automatically adjusted to the ideal settings. For optimal freedom, you can fine-tune the arc individually. This guarantees that you weld with the optimal arc for your needs.
