For outdoor installation, the load-bearing capacity is reduced by the wind and snow load.
The surface must be concrete, level and suitable for dowels and must be able to bear the loads. The customer must check and ensure that the ground conditions and load-bearing capacity as well as any necessary official approvals are in place.

The shelf stands must be anchored to the floor on site; anchoring to the wall is not necessary and not recommended.
According to the employers' liability insurance association, it is recommended that the uprights on the uppermost storage level protrude at least 500 mm from the top edge of the uprights.
