The new AL150HS has a belt speed of 45 m/s thanks to its unique gearbox. If you open the tailgate, the pipe grinder can also be used as a belt grinder, ideal for deburring polished profiles. The AL150HS can be operated with two handwheels or with a lever. Both options are available on the machine. With the AL150HS you can grind material from Ø20 to Ø114.3. The cross support and the carriage with rotating clamp are infinitely adjustable. This means that all pipe profiles can be ground at any desired angle from 20° to 90°. The AL150HS from ALMI can be used to process square, rectangular and round pipes with different wall thicknesses and in all common materials. The ALMI belt adjustment system now makes it even easier to adjust the sanding belt using the hexagon key supplied. The sanding belt can be tensioned quickly and the sanding rollers can be changed in just a few seconds.
Sanding at high speed

Thanks to new developments, ALMI has been able to achieve a sanding speed of 45 m/s with the renewed AL150HS. This gives the sanding belt a longer service life, as the faster sanding means there is less heat in the material, resulting in less discoloration and fine dust.
