High speed moulder infeed comprising a freestanding flat magazine for use in front of a high speed moulder. The infeed magazine is driven by hydraulic motors powered by an 11kW hydraulic unit (max 150m/min). 15kW hydraulic unit (max 200m/min) possible to offer also. Suitable for 300mm wide feed material. A buffer of feedstock is alligned laying flat side by side on the chain cross feeder. The chain feeder transports parts across to the fence. The part next to the fence is detected by a light beam and the the first roller is raised to allow entry and the transport roller then pushes the workpiece under the feed rollers of the planer. The first feed roller of the planer needs to be freewheeling roller to allow operation of the EM814.
