Venjakob RNV 2.0 Exhaust Gas Cleaning System

This system incinerates gaseous pollutants and odors from the production exhaust air, releasing clean air into the environment.

Extraction: Solvent-containing or odor-laden process air (e.g., from painting systems, the chemical industry, or printing plants) is fed into the system.

Preheating: The contaminated air flows through internal ceramic heat storage units and is heated to a very high temperature.

Combustion (Oxidation): In the combustion chamber, the natural gas inlet (the pilot burner) ignites the air. At a temperature of up to 850 °C, the organic pollutants (VOCs) completely break down into harmless water vapor (H₂O) and carbon dioxide (CO₂).

Energy Recovery: The cleaned, hot air then flows through a second ceramic bed and releases its heat there. The system "stores" the heat for the next batch of contaminated air. This makes the system extremely energy-efficient, as after the start-up phase, hardly any additional gas needs to be supplied.
