The Velati spreading machine, constructed entirely from stainless steel, is a specialized piece of equipment for salami production, designed to pre-mix and separate the components of each minced meat type. Thanks to the subdivision and uniform separation between fat and lean portions, significant improvements in the visual quality of the final product can be achieved.

The spreading machine is continuously fed by a conveyor belt at the top. From there, gravity channels the product into a passage containing fixed and rotating pegs that, through centrifugal action, separate the grains of the minced product, making the distinction between lean and fat more apparent. This allows for an optical enhancement of the final slice, ensuring the product's homogeneity is visibly recognizable.

The Velati vertical spreading machine is available in various configurations: one version discharges directly onto a conveyor belt for continuous operation, and another version attaches directly to the grinder outlet, known as the AG spreading machine.
