Technical Description
OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
The goal of OCR is to recognize a character sequence (e. g. serial number) in order to prevent data
mismatch; OCR requires a non-proportional fond (e. g. OCR-B), a fond height > 2.5 mm and a
character line width > 0.2 mm. Background of text must be homogenous.
The specified module is for machine input and also upgrading in output the existing vision system with OCR recognition.
