The MASUR compact shredder are machines with a slow running rotor and quiet in operation. They are of robust construction and have a large feed hopper. The machines have drive motors with sizes ranging from 22 to 45 kW and a star-delta routine. The material is forced onto the cutter rotor by means of a hydraulic ram. The pressure of the ram is regulated via a pressure sensor system, allowing for fully automatic chipping.
