Following consultation over 5 years with major UK manufacturers, production units, including working within factory which builds these machines, this machine was commissioned and built for experimental works to enable proof of concept for UK Government / Ofgem.
This machine is built with steel welded frames to robust industry standards and fitted with 202mm diameter mandrel. Other mandrel sizes can quickly and easily be fitted.
Six robust steel framed de-reeling stands – on wheels - are included,

A steel framed deluge system is included.
An alternative individual application system by manifold of a new, unused Grunfeld GRS 5 - One component dispense system, can be included if required, enabling glue supply to individual reels.
The electronic controller is by Hartec Control systems, with infinite capstan speed control.
Current equivalent machines by Spiraltech start at over £100,000 !
Capstan angle manual control is industry tradition, as once set, no adjustment is needed.
Approx 10 paper reels are supplied FOC for pretest alignment.
Specially incorporated accessible gearbox readily disconnected from motor.
Brand new electric 3 – phase motor with less than 10 hours useage.
Selection of forming belts to suit differing materials.
